“A blend inspired by the opera term for an improvised personal expression at the end of an Aria, this blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvèdre blends together the array of flavors and terroirs of the estate, as well as being driven to create a common name for Grenache blends that are unique to the McLaren Vale appellation. Flavors of Blackberry, bing cherry, mulberry, plums, nuts and subdued oak flavors slowly tapering off to a lingering finish.”

California Wine Experience 2006 - Celebrity Chefs Mario Batali, Emeril Lagasse, Wolfgang Puck and Charlie Trotter took to the stage to compete by preparing pairings for a red and a white wine. For the red wines, it was Yangarra Estate Vineyard Cadenzia 2004, and the Le Vieux Donjon Chateauneuf du Pape 2004. CharlieTrotter prepared a terrine of organic veal heart and crayfish jellies, and the audience gave the edge to Yangarra in their votes. Wolfgang Puck noted "I was surprised how food-friendly the Yangarra is, it's riper, more approachable now."
